Two Double Bags Earned in 1D

Henry Haufrecht and Chris Velasquez become the first two players to earn the $1,000 multi-bag award.

 

Haufrecht bagged 620,000, which is better than his previous bag of 250,000 from 1A. Velasquez also earned a bigger bag with 332,000, which beats his 1B bag of 123,000.

 

Both players will be paid $1,000 for their smaller bag and play their best bag forward on Sunday's 3:00 pm Day 2 restart.

1D Receives 80 Entries

I am tied for the chip lead at close of registration in Flight 1D. Juan Benitez and I both have 123,000 (61 BBs) returning to blinds of 1K/2K-2K.

 

With 80 entries, 10 players will finish in the money. 9th and 10th will receive same-day payouts of $280 and 8th will receive $320. The final 7 players will advance to Sunday's 3:00 pm Day 2 restart.

1B Turbo Receives 25 Entries

Registration in the 1B Turbo Flight closed with 25 entries.

 

Four players will finish in the money with 3rd and 4th place receiving same-day payouts of $320 and $280, respectively.

 

There are 10 more starting flights including four more turbo flights.

Bubble Bursts in 1A

On blinds of 4K/8K-8K, Henry Haufcet opened to 16,000 from the hijack and Christian Rast moved all-in from the cutoff for 25,000.

Justin Hollon jammed over the top from the small blind and action folded out behind him.

Hollon took the lead on the king-high flop and Rast didn't pick up any equity on the 7♠ turn. The 2♠ completed the board and eliminated Rast on the money bubble.

 

The remaining 8 players are now in the money. 8th place will receive a same-day payout of $280. 6th and 7th willl receive payouts of $320. The final five players return Sunday at 3 pm for Day 2.

62 Entries in First Flight

With 62 entries in the first flight of the $150K GTD Multi-Day, 8 players will finish in the money with the final 5 players advancing to Sunday's Day 2 restart.

 

The 9 pm turbo flight is also underway with two tables of players and late registration open until approximately 11:10.

First of Twelve Flights Underway

The $150K GTD is underway at Texas Card House Spring. With 12 starting flights before Sunday's Day 2 restart, there are plenty of chances to secure some big money this weekend.

 

Schedule

Wednesday starts off with two flights at 5 and 9 pm. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will have flights at 12, 5, and 9 pm. The 9 pm flights are turbo flights with the last chance turbo flight at 9 am on Sunday.

1. TDA Rules apply in all Trailblazer Tour events. 2. This is a Multi-Flight/Day No Limit Holdem Tournament. 8% of each flight will advance to day 2. Participants can enter and re-enter an unlimited amount of times until the start of level 9 for $200. 3. This tournament will use the "Big Blind Ante" format. The big blind will be paid before the ante. The ante will not reduce. The blinds will increase until the completion of the event. 4. Bag multiple flights: If the participant double bags, smallest bag removed and player will receive $1,000.00 for smallest bag. If the participant triple bags, smallest bags removed and player will receive $2,500.00 or all their buy-ins back, whichever is greater. Participants do not qualify for the above unless they put chips in bag for Day 2. 5. 8% of each Day 1 flight will bag and advance to Day 2. There will be no Day 1 payouts for this event 6. Day 2 will restart at the earliest level and remaining time that a Day 1 flight finishes at (Excluding turbo flights). 7. There will be a full tournament redraw at the final 27 & 9 participants. 8. Breaks are subject to change during restarts and livestreamed final tables. 9. Turbos have 15 min. levels
