Even Bigger One $250K GTD

After their third break of the day, six players return to blinds of 150K-300K-300K.

Leading the remaining dreamers is Chris Akin with 12,250,000. Players have each locked up $12,200 and continue to battle for the first place prize of $59,330!

Action is underway at Texas Card House Dallas with the third and final day of Trailblazer Poker Tour's $250K GTD Even Bigger One.

After outlasting a field of 1,548, the final nine players each have their eyes on the first place prize of $59,330!

Chris Chronister begins the final table as the chip leader, but this is far from an easy lineup.

Robyn Macadams leads the remaining 17 players with 5,300,000 on blinds of 40K-80K-80K.

Players will play down to a final table of nine and then return Monday at 7:00 PM for a livestreamed final table on TCH LIVE.

The next payouts for 16th-17th will be $2,880.

Recent eliminations

On blinds of 25K-50K-50K, Nicholas Burnett opened from early position and Gregorio Acevedogonzalez three-bet to 425,000 from the hijack. Ethan Doan cold four-bet ripped from the small blind for approximately 875,000 effective.

Burnett folded but Acevedogonzalez called.

The dealer brought a king in the window, but a queen was quickly spread behind it with a flop of K♣Q♥5♥. Doan's set of queens improved to quads with the Q♣ turn. The 8♦ completed the board.

Doan now sits right around average stack with 23 players remaining.

Demond Williams continues to lead in the Even Bigger One at Texas Card House Dallas.

Williams returns to blinds of 5K-10K-10K with 1,404,000 after starting the day with 1,424,000. While not much has changed for him, a few players have begun to close the gap. Esteban Ruiz has chipped up to 1,287,000 from his 792,000 Day 2 starting position.

118 players remain as they continue to work their way down to a final table late tonight. The final table will return Monday at 7:00 PM.

Top 10 Stacks

The $250K GTD Even Bigger One blew past its guarantee with 1,548 entries across eight starting flights, which generated a prize pool of $363,780.

The min cash is set at $260. Players will play down to a final table of nine with the final tableists locking up a minimum of $5,930. The final nine will return Monday for a livestreamed final table and their shot at the $59,330 first place prize!

There were also 11 multi-bag bonuses earned for a total of $11,000.

Flight G recorded the largest field with 368 and Demond Williams bagged approximately twice as many chips as the previous chip leader.

Williams will return for Day 2 with 1,424,000 (237 BBs) on blinds of 3K-6K-6K with 19:31 on the clock.

Esteban Ruiz was the former overall chip leader with 792,000 (132 BBs), which he bagged in Flight 1E. While Williams is the only player with more than one million chips, Nicholas Burnett bagged just shy of that mark with 959,000 (160 BBs).

Flight 1E shook things up a bit with two more $1,000 multi-bag awards earned and a new overall chip leader.

Mark Lilly and Joshua Mason both earned their second bag in Flight 1E. Both players managed to bag more than their previous bags too. Lilly had bagged 232,000 in 1A, while Mason bagged 354,000 in 1C.

Lilly improved to 320,500 (53 BBs) and Mason is on the cusp of a top 10 stack with 431,000 (72 BBs). Both players will be awarded the $1,000 payout for their smaller bags on Day 2.

Robyn Macadams is currently one of the chip leaders in Flight E with 42 players remaining.

At close of registration he was third in chips with 162,500 and has since doubled that. The best part? He is enjoying a book at the table.

Macadams will turn quite a few pages before players reach the money bubble. 19 players will advance to Sunday's 1:00 PM Day 2 restart. 

The largest flights are yet to come, but the Friday 10:00 AM flight at Texas Card House Dallas received 184 entries!

With a total of 638 entries through the first five of eight starting flights, the prize pool has generated $149,930 of its $250,000 guarantee.

Jim Coyle has already earned a $1,000 payout for bagging twice with 145,000 in Flight 1A and then 257,000 in Flight 1C.

Now, Coyle is hunting his third bag in Flight 1E. If he can find a third bag before Sunday's 1:00 PM Day 2 restart, Coyle will earn a $2,500 payout or all of his buy-ins back plus $1,000!

Registration in Flight 1E is still open for an additional hour and thirty minutes.

After a lengthy hand-for-hand in Flight 1D, Christopher Akin bagged 663,000 for the new overall chip lead.

Also bagging in Flight 1D was Stephen Falk with 84,000. He had previously bagged 174,000 in Flight 1B.

Falk is the second player to earn the $1,000 award for a second bag. He will play his bigger bag of 174,000 on Sunday's 1:00 PM Day 2 restart.

With the elimination of Sharon Aloor on the Day 2 bubble, Justin Joiner bagged 509,500 for the 1B chip lead.

Daniel Saad also bagged just over 500,000 in Flight 1B, but the overall chip leader remains Luke McCann from 1A with 654,000 (81 BBs).

Both Flights 1A and 1B finished on blinds of 4K-8K-8K. Day 2 action will resume with 1A's earlier clock of 28:50 unless one of the remaining six starting flights finishes on an earlier blind level.

Day 2 Chip Counts

Following Homaoun Zolfagharia's back-to-back eliminations, Luke McCann bagged 654,000 for the 1A chip lead. McCann and six others bagged on blinds of 4K-8K-8K with 28:50 on the clock.

There are seven more starting flights before Sunday's 1:00 PM Day 2 restart.

Day 2 Chip Counts

The first flight of the $250K GTD Even Bigger One received 70 entries at TCH Social Las Colinas.

Leading the remaining 30 players at the close of registration is Homayoun Zolfagharian with 228,500 (152 BBs) returning to blinds of 1K-1.5K-1.5K.

Seven players will advance to Sunday's 1:00 PM Day 2 restart.
